You can register as an individual or you can register as a member of a team. The registration fee will be the same.
All registration will be done online and you need to have access to Facebook messenger and a mobile payment account with MTN or Orange. If you have troubles with the process, please reach out to us on Facebook or email to info@liberiamarathon.org.

The registration for the Liberia Marathon is open from September 1, 2026 onwards.
Individual registration closes November 6, 2026.
Team registration closes October 30, 2026.
Registration may close early if the race is sold out before planned closing date
Individual Registration
Online Registration via Facebook Messenger
The easiest way to register is via the Facebook Messenger. Once you provided your information, you will be connected to Mobile Payment (MTN or Orange) to make the payment. Also, no data needed – you can access the chatbot in data-free mode.
Your buddy does not a smart phone? No problem, let them sign up on your phone and connect to their own Mobile Money account. You get their confirmation on your phone and you just screenshot it. Easy!

Team Registration
You want to register as a big team? No problem.
Pick one team captain who will request a team code and will share it among all team members. Each team member will register individually via Facebook Messenger using the team code.
Please note: Registration as a team member is only possible via Facebook!
The team captain will make the accumulated amount of registration fees for all team members shortly before the race.

Athletes with Disabilities
Athletes with disabilities register for free of charge. Athethle on crutches and in wheelchairs can register via the Facebook Messenger to compete in the respective races. They can register individually or a member of a team.
Participants with other disabilities who will join the footrace shall reach out to the organisers on Facebook or via email (info@liberiamarathon.org) to enjoy free registration. They can register individually or a member of a team.
